System requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or newer
  • Apple Silicon (M-series) or Intel. Pick the matching build
  • 8 GB RAM recommended for the on-device LLM sidecar

Installing NoteV1

  1. Click the download button above. The .dmg starts downloading from GitHub.
  2. Open the .dmg and drag NoteV1 to your Applications folder.
  3. Open NoteV1 from Applications. macOS will ask for permission to use the microphone, calendar, and screen recording. NoteV1 uses these to record and write up your meetings (screen recording is optional, for keeping anything shared on screen).
  4. That's it. No sign-up, no account, no setup. NoteV1 works out of the box.

Linux and Windows builds are in active development. NoteV1 is built on Tauri so the cross-platform port is real engineering work in progress, not a "someday" item.
